Please God

Grant me the patience, energy and faith to get through the next week.

You see last week brought more worries about Tiny Mite and more frustrations about our move.. On Monday I got a call saying Tiny Mites WBC count was fine, however her neutraphils were low.. As they explained them, it is the part of your blood that fights infections.. And that she would have to have her blood retested on the following Monday.. As I was talking to my doctor, the lady I babysit for (a nurse) over heard my convo and said, " I don't want you to worry but low Neutraphils can be linked to leukemia".. Well that was enough for me to search every website on leukemia and neutraphils.. It turns out that reoccurring yeast infections can also mean leukemia.. Lets just say sometimes the Internet is evil.. I should have left well enough alone.. Because you see, Tiny Mite has battled thrush 3 times and at this moment has a terrible yeast infection/diaper rash..

So, yeah I'm a nervous wreck.. As if enough wasn't already going on in my world.. I now have to take Tiny Mite again to be poked on Monday..We also have a GI appointment on Monday to try and figure out why she has mucousy poop.. Which is a whole different issue with Tiny Mite or heck who knows they all could be linked.. Because I have since found out that Yeast infections can be in your digestive system and cause mucousy poop.. And bad yeast infections can cause fever as well.. Lets hope it is all just a yeast infection causing all these different problems..

As for the move to Vegas, not really any new news.. We were going to leave this weekend but James had another interview so that blew that.. I guess it is for the best because Tiny Mite has all this stuff going on..

I'm really at the end of my rope with it all .. That is why I could use some patience--I will eventually get to Vegas.. Some energy--I swear the more I do, the more needs to be done..And Faith--that god will take care of Tiny Mite and our current situation..

So I leave you with this:
When you feel like you have given it your all, give some more..

Transition week 2 --DONE

WOW, What a week..

Boxes got packed, grass got mowed, Father's Day cards got bought, colored and mailed and then Tiny Mite got sick.. And I don't mean a little runny nose sick.. I mean 102 fever, tossing and screaming all night and ALL DAY sick..

On Thursday after 2 days of a fever and no sleep I took her to the Ped.. Where they poked and proded and decided she needed to be cathed for a urine sample, for a possible UTI.. Then, we were on our way to our little town hospital for blood and chest x-rays (to rule out Pneumonia).. Let me just tell you, this did not go well.. First off, remind me of 2 things should this happen again.. 1st take her straight to Children's hospital, do not waste your time at the little hospital because they will not get what they need and you have just wasted your time.. 2nd DUCK TAPE, yep that is right, for Little Foot.. Who thought it would be cool to run from the waiting room to the collection room all because sissy had a needle in her arm and mommy was pinned in the chair holding her.. So, 3 pokes later and a enough blood to test only her counts, a chest x-ray and we were on our way home.. I got home long enough to feed the kids before the Dr. called and said her WBC counts were high and we needed to go to Children's to get blood taken and a possible spinal tap.. So, I called for reinforcement.. My parents.. God I love them.. My dad came and stayed with Little foot and Princess and my mom went to the hospital with me..

A spinal tap, an IV, blood taken, antibiotics and we were able to come home.. We had no idea what was wrong but we did know, it wasn't strep, meningitis, UTI, or pneumonia. That night and the next two days were pure Hell.. She screamed non-stop.. But thankfully another trip to the Dr., a shot of antibiotics and finally she seems to have turned the corner..

Thanks to my parents I did manage to get some more packing done..

Yesterday, was blah.. No Daddy for the kids to celebrate with.. God we miss him soo much.. But Papa loved his breakfast and dinner the kids and I made him..

I'm hoping for a better week..

BYOV and ANT KILLER

Yep, I'm about to have one big fat pity party. So break out the violin..

Today has been something.. First off I didn't sleep well last night and I was tanked this morning.. When my alarm went off at 5:50, I wanted to cry..

DISCLAIMER AHEAD: I LOVE MY PARENTS AND I OWE THEM MY LIFE, THEY ARE THE BEST PARENTS A GIRL COULD ASK FOR.. However, they are very negative.. I mean if there is something to find to go wrong they will pick and prod at it.. So I had to listen to my dad tell me how he isn't ready to put his house on the market, because by god the job situation with J-man doesn't sound promising.. Huh, he has only been there a week and had a interview for 3 different positions today.. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but a week isn't that long to find a job.. I just had to end the conversation at that point.. One time I was glad my children were acting like hellions children having fun..

Then my hinges on my laptop screen broke and I now have to prop it up on something to keep it from falling.. And as if that wasn't enough to make my heart stop because you know my computer is my life stress outlet, the backspace button pops off as well..

Of course any day wouldn't be complete with out my dog Little Foot pulling of his diaper and peeing on the floor .. Yep, gotta love my little green machine..

You see where this is all going it just keeps getting better for heaven sake.. I then decide I needed a coffee and Starbucks is out of the question.. Because, not only does our little town not have a starbucks with a drive-thru, they also close at 6:00.. So, Sonic here we come.. A Carmel mocha java chiller will have to do.. But, oh wait I can't have that because Tiny Mite has this mystery mucousy poop that the Dr. and lab can't figure out.. So I have decided on my own to go milk free and see if that helps.. Can't hurt right.. HMM well that shot the Java Chiller to the depths of the fiery place..I order a cherry coke instead.. Princess could not be more thrilled.. Because, you see as much as I love frozen coffees ,Princess loves cherries.. And that meant cherries for her.. So, I ask for Xtra cherries because I'm just a great mom.. HEY I am, or at least she thought so at that moment.. The nice girl comes with my cherry coke and I say are there Xtra cherries in there, you sure will make princesses day.. She says yes ma'am there is.. So, I get home and start digging at the bottom of my route 44 cherry coke, so that Princess can enjoy the cherries and I can enjoy my drink in peace.. Yep, you can guess what happens next.. NOT ONE freakin frackin cherry.. For the love of god, don't they know you can't mess with Princess and her cherries, especially when Momma Princess has had a day from the depths of the fiery place.. Yeah, it wasn't good.. Some how it was my fault..

But, wait just when you thought I was going to end this post, its time to break out that ANT KILLER I asked for.. Because you see I went to feed the dog and ants were all in his food and then I went to throw away something and there were ants at the bottom of my pantry.. So, I sprayed them and mopped them and sprayed some more.. Because you know I'm not busy enough as it is.. I'm loosing this war with ants.. I mean they are even attacking me in my mail box.. UMM hello, did they not get the message there are only bills in there (which they could gladly pay) no ones sending me chocolate..

Alright I must go try to get some sleep.. See this big baby is scared at night and doesn't sleep well when J-Man is gone.. It will be over soon, I have faith..OH and you may start playing those violins now..

Jinxing yourself -- Yes its true

Yeah, you all know what I'm talking about.. The minute you open your mouth and say, "Oh the baby is sleeping great", it starts waking up every hour.. Or the minute you say, "The 2 year old is potty trained, they start peeing all over". (and No my 2 year old is NOT potty trained.. Matter fact he is more like a dog, he just raises his leg and pees anywhere.. I KID YOU NOT...)

So, yesterday all of us Daisy moms were standing around talking.. And a couple of the moms were saying how their girls cry over everything.. And I was like (yes slap me now) Sierra doesn't really cry much..She can be a drama queen but she isn't much of a crier...Well, that was all it took.. She has cried over EVERYTHING since then, and NO I'm not over exaggerating.. So much so, little foot called her a cry baby yesterday.. Which OH MY LORD started a whole new round of tears.. Because of course she pushed him and then got in trouble and I don't love her as much as him..

PLEASE, remind me the next time I go to open my mouth to just keep it shut.. I now know where the phrase, driving someone to drink came from.. Geez..

Transition week one -- DONE

WOW a week has come and gone... At this time last Sunday I was frantically running around trying to make sure The Little King got to say goodbye to his friends, picking up his IPod (If anyone has any idea why a child would leave their very expensive IPod in their friends car please clue me in, because really I'm clueless on this one), making sure that J-Man and The Little King had every thing they needed.. We then packed up the car and away we went to the airport.. This is when reality set in.. See, the week before J-Man and I had a conversation that went like this:
Me: Did you book your ticket yet?
J-Man: No, I'm worried about leaving you to do it all at home.
Me: Don't worry about me I will be fine.
J'man: Well, you are still babysitting and packing is NOT going to be easy, plus mowing the lawn, getting the car fixed and such..
Me: I can do it, just go find a job
J-Man: OK then

Lets just say there was tears all around when we left J-man and The Little King at the airport.

The week was very productive though.. My parents came on Monday so I could take the car in.. It only needed an oil change --Score --.. Then they stayed the rest of the week and helped pack.. My parents rock..

The basement is completely packed.. Which consisted of The Little Kings room (I'm not sure how we made it out of there alive) the guest room, the laundry/storage room, a bathroom and the family room..

The kids rooms are packed as well.. I am pulling outfits out of tubs everyday for them.. WOW their rooms are clean..
Actually most of the house it packed.. I just have odds and ends here and there.. I feel pretty good about how far I have gotten..

We ended the week with two Daisy outings.. The first outing was walking in the parade.. Now, I have been asking, well actually praying for warm weather.. And lets just say that prayer came true.. So picture me in 93 degree weather with , oh lets say 60 % humidity walking over a mile carrying Little Foot on my shoulders and pushing a stroller( although one of the nice moms took over the stroller).. Yeah, yeah I know I need a double stroller ..It has just been at bottom of the list.. Not so much anymore..

Then the girls were camping out.. So, off we went.. Princess helped put up tents, roasted hot dogs, made fruit kabobs and had a great time.. I didn't stay overnight because, Well I really didn't think anyone wanted to see me nursing in the middle of the night.. So Little Foot, Tiny Mite and I went home for the night and went back in the morning.. One of the moms had ponies and the girls got to go for a ride.. They had a ball..

Little Foot wanted nothing to do with it.. He lasted long enough for me to snap a not so good picture.

Tiny Mite decided she must have her pic taken with the pony..

Now I must go mow our half acre lot with a push mower.. Anyone want to help?? Anyone?? Hmm, I don't blame you..

Home is where you heart is?

I bet your all just dying to know how we decided to move back home. Well it went a little like this. Us talking about J-Man finding a job.

J-Man: Why don't we all just pack up and move.
Me: I think we should (thinking he was blowing smoke up my rear)
J-Man: (To my parents who were sitting there) You guys can just move in with us.
Me: NO WAY really ?(as in, we are actually really thinking about moving)
J-Man: WAY.
Me: VEGAS here we come.
J-Man, Hmm I was thinking more along the lines of Montana, Texas, or Colorado.
Me: Woohoo Vegas here we come.
J-Man: lol
Me: giving that look like, you know we are only moving home.
ME: OH SHIT, what about your family.
J-Man: YOUR telling them NOT me.
ME: OH H-E-L-L NO.

Yep, ladies and gents that is how we decided to move back home. It has been a tough decision for us. We love our family here in Il tons, but are ready to go back home.

Oh and by the way, James told his family. It was a little bumpy but, over all I think they are taking it well. I'm sure they are like, Damn its about time we got rid of James and Annette and their FOUR kids. Just kidding Mom and Dad.

All the COOL moms are doing it.

I have been overcome by peer pressure. I have decided to blog. Man I'm such a follower. But, in my defense this will be a great way for people to know exactly what we are up to.

You see, 2008 has been one wild and crazy year for us. Yeah, yeah I know we are only 5 months into the year. But, in these 5 months we have added a new baby, our sweet Tiny Mite. We have closed a business, that J-man loved and worked so hard to build and we have decided to move 1,700 hundred miles cross country to go back home . WOW, when I think of the last 5 months my head just spins. So, jump in, put your seat belts on and enjoy this crazy ride. (It could get really bumpy, so hold on)
